Job Title: QA Operator (with driver licence and able to ride a motorbike)
 
Location: Mombasa – 3 months contract

Important: To start immediately

Purpose of the job: to contribute towards the formulation of the overall Company Strategy and ensuring that it is successfully implemented
 
Main Responsibilities
  • Attach & removal of electronic tracking seals
  • Liaison with client drivers and staff whilst on site
  • Install vehicle tracking devices into vehicles
  • Ensuring all equipment installed are fully operational and fit for task prior to certification
  • Liaison with the Control Room on all relevant Operational requirements
  • Assist in developing the business of Fleet & Cargo Tracking with current or new clients
  • Assist in ensuring sufficient resources are available to achieve operational objectives
  • Uphold policies designed to improve the company’s image & relations with customers
  • To keep abreast of & abide by Operations best practices & procedures
  • To look at ways of improving current procedures or practices relating to the business
  • Liaising with the direct line supervisor daily for priority requirements
  • Assisting where possible other members of the SGS ECTS team relating to operations
Qualification:
  • Computer literate
  • Driving licence and able to ride a motorbike is crucial
  • Available immediately to work in Mombasa
Experience required:
  • Technical experience in electronic or h/w engineering - desirable
  • Previous experience in a Cargo/Fleet Tracking company – desirable
  • Equipment Fault Finding - desirable
  • Vehicle Mechanics – desirable
  • Vehicle Electronics – desirable
