The Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest), whose mandate is to promote and facilitate both Domestic and Foreign investments in Kenya, seeks to recruit suitable candidates for the following position:-

Job Title: Investor Services Officer (After Care)
 
Reports to: Manager, Investor Services  (After Care)
 
Division / Section / Unit: Investor Services
 
Responsible for:
  • Interns
  • Temporal staff
Location: Head Office Nairobi
 
Job Purpose: To provide after care services.
 
Roles and Responsibilities    
  • Providing effective After Care Services to new and existing investment projects;
  • Liaising with the Trade Officers at the headquarters of KenInvest and Officers within the Regional/County level on various updates on projects which need Government attention;
  • Addressing specific investor needs and concerns;
  • Facilitating creation of investment clubs and committees;
  • Preparing regular reports;
  • Maintaining a Log of investors visited and action taken on issues raised;
  • Facilitating tracking of approved projects; and
  • Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Job Specification:
 
Education and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Degree from an accredited University with an emphasis in Economics and Business Studies or in a related field.
Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years Knowledge in project management, identification, selection, appraisal, implementation, monitoring & evaluation;
  • Conversant with Government economic recovery programmes, economic integration initiatives (EAC, COMESA, WTO, EU, AGOA, NEPAD, etc);
  • International exposure in related field;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Computer literacy;
  • Team player;
Key Performance Indicators    
  • After care visits, concerns, resolutions and Action taken.
  • Regional/County Investment committees formed.
  • Stakeholders Feedback.
  • Level of re-investment/expansion
  • Average time taken to resolve issues raised by investors
