Vacancy: Head Chef

The job description for this role is as follows:
  • Planning menus
  • Ensuring quality of raw material
  • Ensure quality of finished goods
  • Ensure portion size
  • Stock management
  • Knowledge of cost and budgets
  • Organizing and managing staff
  • Overall food production overview
  • Knows how to motivate and delegate efficiently while also maintaining a teamwork attitude.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a top end restaurant or hotel.
  • Knows about food hygiene and cleanliness, and is compliant with HACCAP procedures
  • Has a degree / diploma in food production
