Surrey Scholarship - 2014

Kericho County Government jointly with the University of Surrey invites eligible candidates to apply for the above scholarship tenable in the University of Surrey (UK). 

The Scholarship is open to bright students from Kericho County and will cover tuition, travel and basic subsistence needs. 

This scholarship is partially supported by James Finlay (K) Limited. 

Please carefully read the guidelines below before applying for the scholarship.
 
Admission is to the University of Surrey for a Masters Degree in science-based course such as Bio-Chemistry, Environment, Chemical Engineering; etc. in the year 2014.
 
Selection for the scholarship is based on outstanding academic results with a minimum of second class upper division and above, at bachelor’s level.

Applicants must have graduated within the last two years (i.e. 2012, 2013 or 2014) from a Public University in Kenya.
 
The scholarship is open to residents of Kericho County only.
 
Interested students who wish to apply for the scholarship will need to submit the following documents:-
  • Certified copies of:-
  1. KCSE Certificate
  2. Secondary School Leaving Certificate
  3. Degree Certificate
  • Duly filled application form.
Canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
 
Only shortlisted and successful candidates will be contacted.
 
Application forms can be picked from the office of the County Secretary or downloaded from www.kericho.go.ke.
