The Group is looking for a highly motivated, qualified, experienced and reputable individual, to fill the following position

Studio Maintenance Technician

The incumbent will be charged with ensuring that all studio equipment is well serviced and maintained to guarantee quality broadcast signal at all times.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Repair broadcast technology systems
  • Utilise knowledge of analogue and digital systems to install test and maintain technical facilities
  • Maintain specialist equipment for audio, video, broadcast and interactive media
  • Analyse and rectify technical faults
  • Identify and implement alternative ways of meeting requirements to cover equipment failures
  • Interpret requests and instructions from other user departments
Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Communication / Electronic Engineering.
  • 3 years’ experience in Broadcast Engineering.
  • Experience in Virtual Studio Operations and OB operations.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and to improvise if necessary
  • Energy and ability to work irregular hours
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills at all staff and at community level
