The Co-operative University College of Kenya (CUCK), a constituent College of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology, seeks to recruit suitable and qualified candidates to fill in the following vacant positions:

Vacancies in the Faculty of Commerce

Associate Professor

Grade 14

Ref: AC/ASSPROF/FC/11/14

Applicants Must have:

• A PhD. or equivalent degree qualification from a recognized/accredited Institution in any of the following fields: Banking, Finance or Accounting;
• At least three (3) years teaching/ research experience at the University level as a Senior Lecturer in their area of specialization;
• Evidence of active research involvement and significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge as evidenced by; at least three (3) outstanding publications in peer-reviewed journals or two (2) refereed books in their area of specialization since appointment as a Senior Lecturer.
• Supervised at least five (5) postgraduate students, demonstrable involvement in post-graduate course development and attraction of research funds as a Senior Lecturer.
• Been registered by the relevant Professional Body (where applicable).

Lecturers

Grade 12

Applicants Must have:

• A PhD. or equivalent degree qualification from a recognized/accredited Institution in any of the following fields; Finance & Accounting, Banking, Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, Management & Leadership, Hospitality & Tourism Management;
• Been registered by the relevant Professional Body (where applicable).
