Centre for Health Solutions (CHS) is a local indigenous Kenyan Organization working in partnership with the Ministries of Health in Kenya in the implementation of evidence based solutions and interventions to existing and emerging public health concerns.

CHS began activities as a local sub partner to ICAP-Kenya, an international organization funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) through the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Track 1 Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) Cooperative Agreement for Central province, Kenya.

CHS is looking for suitable Kenyan nationals to fill the following positions based in Nyeri:

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of monitoring and evaluation tools
  • Provide technical assistance to health care facilities including review of performance and quality of service delivery, assessment of M&E strategies, implementation and evaluation of patient tracking systems, data management, data quality assurance, data summarization, and analysis
  • Provide expertise for developing indicators for monitoring and evaluation framework
Minimum Requirements:
  • Degree in Statistics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, public health, international health, or related discipline
  • At least 4 years’ proven professional experience in the design, implementation and management of health monitoring and evaluation systems
Data Officer

Key Responsibilities
  • Data entry of routine monthly and quarterly data
  • Data reconstruction and computerization from source documents as required
  • Data quality checks against client data from medical records
  • Compilation of monthly reports
Minimum Qualifications
  • Diploma in Health Records Information/ Health Information Technology
  • At least 2 years’ experience, preferably at MOH district facility level
  • Database management skills and ability to use statistical software and proficiency in MS Office.
Driver

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety and security of the vehicle at all times
  • To document all vehicle movements and maintain up-to-date driver’s logbook
  • To provide logistical support in dispatching of supplies to the facilities.
Minimum Requirements
  • KCSE qualification
  • Valid Kenyan driving licence Class ‘BCE’
  • A certificate of Good Conduct
  • At least 5 years’ driving experience and good knowledge of the regions in which ICAP operates.
  • Be reliable, punctual, self-motivated, a great attitude and strong work ethic.
