A rapidly growing global healthcare solutions company is seeking a highly qualified professional to serve as Senior Technical Lead of Health Capacity Building and Public-Private Partnerships as a partner on APHIA Plus Zone 1 in Nyanza and Western Provinces.

The ideal candidate will meet or exceed the following requirements:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement a capacity building program for private healthcare professionals on the topics of HIV/AIDS (including ART), TB, malaria and reproductive health
  • Determine overall program vision, strategy, goals and design
  • Work with Ministry of Health to facilitate delivery of mentorship packages to private health providers
  • Assist referral programs between private and government health facilities
  • Monitor program impact and implement continuous quality improvement
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders in government, private sector and within the project
Required Qualifications
  • Medical doctor, MD, (or equivalent) trained in infectious disease and an HIV specialist
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with a USAID agency
  • Proven technical expertise in programmes managing HIV patients
  • Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal and diplomacy skills with the proven ability to foster good will and build consensus at all organizational levels.
  • High level of computer literacy with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
