Mount Kenya Bottlers Limited seeks exceptional people for the following positions;

Human Resource & Administration Manager

Reporting to the Managing Director, the position holder will be responsible for execution of human resource programs and activities at strategic and operational level.

As per member of senior management team, he/she will support the achievement of corporate goals by providing strategic HR input in Corporate Strategic plan.

Key outputs will be;
  • Delivery of effective HR services that are aligned to business needs and best practises
  • Managing Staff Training & Development, Career and succession plans
  • Designing and implementing systems for managing performance and rewards
  • Managing Employee relations and leading CBA negotiations
  • Managing departmental budget including HR and general administration spend.
  • Undertaking Corporate CSR programs and activities
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business, HRM, Humanities or Social Sciences
  • Post graduate diploma in HR Management a must
  • Extensive knowledge and application of Labour Laws
  • Minimum 7 HR practice as a HR generalist with 5 years senior management experience
  • Specialist skills in key areas such as recruitment, performance & reward management, career & succession planning, employee relations, change management and strategic planning.
  • Working knowledge of Ms Office and HRIMS systems is a must.
Area Sales Manager

The position holder will report to the General Sales Manager and will be responsible for achievement of overall business objectives within a given sales region.

Key input areas will be;
  • Directing and supervision of the sales force in order to achieve the region’s business targets.
  • Managing the standards of operation and business development at the distributor level
  • Growing market share of the business
  • Implementing management routines i.e. sales reports, customer lists, route coverage etc
  • Developing and executing local sales promotions and marketing programs
  • Conduct training and coaching of internal sales force and distributor personnel
Qualifications
  • A business degree in marketing or related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Post graduate qualifications in sales and marketing from a recognized institution
  • Financial management experience
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in a similar position
  • Competent driver with BCE licence
  • Working knowledge of Ms Office a must
Mechanical Engineer

The position holder will be responsible for the efficient and effective maintenance of mechanical machinery and equipment.

The key outputs will be;
  • Organize scheduled maintenance of machine and equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare machines and equipment for statutory inspection.
  • Supervise projects installations,
  • Undertake troubleshooting and repairs as per the set standards and targets.
  • To monitor machine and equipment performance and assist in formulating continuous improvement programs.
Qualifications
  • Bsc in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
  • 2 years relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of Ms Office a must
  • Knowledge of current EOSH practices a must.
Machine Operator

The position holder will operate electronically controlled production equipment to attain set output targets and ensure effective preventive, routine and condition based maintenance so as to maximise machine efficiency
  • Operate and maintain assigned electrical/ electronic machines
  • Electrical trouble shooting and correction of electrical and electronic machinery.
  • Monitor performance and maintain records of plant machinery
  • Ensure quality health and safety practices standards are adhered to.
Qualifications
  • Diploma certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (KNEC or equivalent)
  • 2 years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of workplace Health & Safety practises
Motor Vehicle Electrician

The position holder will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical system of all classes of vehicles and forklifts.

Key input areas will be
  • Electrical trouble shooting and repairs
  • Maintenance of transmissions and hydraulics of forklift
  • Maintain all electrical system including alternators, starters, electrical harness etc
  • Conduct periodic inspections on electrical and hydraulic systems
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Motor Vehicle Electronics or
  • Diploma in M/V Mechanics with Craft certificate in M/V Electronics
  • Minimum 2 years experience.
  • Experience in Forklifts maintenance a distinct advantage
