Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is a nonprofit international health organization with over four decades of experience strengthening health systems, local capacity and institutions.

MSH takes a comprehensive approach to improving health to achieve scalability, lasting impact, and sustainability.

Our mission is to save lives and improve the health of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people by closing the gap between knowledge and action in public health.

MSH would like to invite suitably qualified and experienced candidates to join its team based in Kenya on a 5 years Institutional Strengthening Project funded by USAID.

The project will seek to strengthen the technical and institutional capacity of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to enable them to be responsive to the health needs and well being of Kenyans.

This project will also strengthen the national level Kenyan NGOs, CSOs and / or CSO networks to provide national level advocacy for inclusion of CSOs in policy making and strategy development for increased health service delivery to the communities.

Institutional Strengthening (IS) Marketplace and Communications Advisor

The Institutional Strengthening (IS) Marketplace and Communications Advisor provides leadership and technical assistance in managing the web-based IS marketplace and leading project communication initiatives.

He / She develops and maintains the marketplace portal and encourages interest and use of the portal as a forum for knowledge exchange, sharing tools, new approaches and updates on CSO activities.

He / She identifies CSOs partners and IS vendors and maintains an active network of community-based and other local and national organizations with whom the project can partner to increase awareness of, and access to, information on CSO activities.

Applicants will possess a minimum of a Masters degree in public health, education, communication or a related field and 5 years of relevant experience.

Experience in developing website, electronic portals and other electronic tools is required.

Applicants will also demonstrate excellent writing and editing skills for a variety of mediums and excellent interpersonal and public communication skills.
