Client Profile: An Australian Slaughterhouse based in Brisbane Australia.

Job Title: General Mechanics / Fitters

Job Location: Brisbane, Australia

Eligible Nationalities: Kenyans

Key Areas of Responsibility

1. Assists in Maintenance of all machines in the Slaughterhouse.

2. Ensures all machinery is running efficiently at all times.

3. Ensures smooth flow of all machinery.

Required Skills and Competencies

Education and Experience:

• Completion of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline from a reputable Institution of learning.
• At least Five (5) years working experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in a Slaughterhouse will be an added advantage.

Specific Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

• Understanding of Health Safety and Environment (HSE) reporting procedures.
• Effective written and oral communication skills – fluent in English
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent computer skills.

English Testing

Please Note: Shortlisted candidates will be expected to undertake the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and must score a mean grade of 5.
