Senior Sales Trainer

The Senior Sales Trainer position is part of our Expert Training team and plays a critical role in ensuring that our clients' sales teams are reaching/surpassing their targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct training programs for various sales groups on Sales Training Kenya solutions, sales skills, sales management skills and other sales related content as needed
  • Work as a team member with instructional designers and sales leadership to develop training for sales teams
  • Contribute to training strategies and development of tactics and tools
  • Conduct needs assessments, analyze and identify methodologies to improve existing training materials as necessary
  • Assist and support in the development of curriculum, assessments and training programs that support our sales training courses
  • Develop resources including lesson plans, learner guides/resources, instructor guides, quizzes, online resources, blogs and other communications
  • Actively participate in sales-specific social sites as a contributor and facilitator
  • Up to 75% travel required.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 3 plus years of related experience in delivery of sales training
  • Strong background in the delivery of stand-up training and facilitation
  • Experience with learning theories, and effective instructional and delivery strategies
  • Identify, and communicate course objectives
  • Apply appropriate instructional strategies
  • Create assessment and testing tools
  • And evaluate learning activities for effectiveness
  • Strong business knowledge/acumen
  • Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
  • An understanding of the HR/HCM industry a plus
  • Certification in delivery of branded sales and/or leadership programs a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment
  • A strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to represent us in a professional and positive manner
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work within employee teams
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Experience in a quota-carrying job a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required
