Consultancy: End of the Emergency Drought Response Project Evaluation

HelpAge is seeking the services of a consultant to conduct an end of the Emergency Drought Response project evaluation for drought affected communities in Mandera North and Mandera West.

The main focus of the programme was to provide emergency relief to older people and their families in the pastoral communities through the provision of food, non food items and water trucking. 

It also supported community-led early recovery activities through the rehabilitation of borehole and construction of household latrines and provision of water purification by distributing aqua tabs to improve sanitation and access to safe and clean water in drought affected areas of North Eastern Kenya.

The programme was implemented by Rural Agency for Community Development Assistance (RACIDA) with technical support from HelpAge International
