An established, dynamic audit firm is looking for Audit Managers and Audit Seniors for its Nairobi office. 

HSW’s approach to audits is tailored to address risk, the particular industry sector and client’s operating systems and structures. 

Applicants should therefore  combine technical audit knowledge with other skills in tax, risk management & IT. 

Audit Managers 
 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage and supervise the execution of audits
• Identify and recommend needed improvements in client systems
• Work with partners and other managers on staff deployment and development
• Provide guidance on a wide array of advisory, accounting and tax issues

Qualifications:

• Seven years audit experience with demonstrated supervisory experience
• University degree and qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, ACA)
• Applied working knowledge of ISA and IFRS
• Be aware of emerging audit methodologies and technical accounting issues
• Professional manner and excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Dynamic, vibrant and good with people
• CISA qualification and knowledge of auditing software will be an added advantage.

Audit Seniors
 

Responsibilities:

• Execution of audit assignments
• Identify and recommend needed improvements in client systems
• Work on staff deployment and development
• Provide guidance on a wide array of advisory, accounting and tax issues

Qualifications:

• Five years audit experience
• University degree and qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, ACA)
• Applied working knowledge of ISA and IFRS
• Professional manner and excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Dynamic, vibrant and good with people
• Ability to carry out audits with minimal supervision
• CISA qualification and knowledge of auditing software will be an added advantage
