FPEAK General Manager Job in Thika Kenya

The Fresh Produce Exporters Association of Kenya (FPEAK) is an association of growers and exporters of fruits, vegetables and flowers in Kenya. It was established in 1975 as a company Limited by Guarantee (nonprofit making) and comprises of about 150 organisations.

FPEAK seeks to recruit a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position of General Manager for the Practical Training Center (PTC) based in Thika.

Job Purpose: Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the GM will manage and control all administrative activities including but not limited to the Practical Training Centre (PTC) training curriculum, finances, and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning & Co-ordination: Manage and co-ordinate the implementation of the PTC educational and field operations, including budgets, tenders and curriculum.
• People Management: Supervision and monitoring of productivity and effectiveness of staff within assigned divisions.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, horticulture, post-harvest technology, business management or related fields. 
• Masters or higher qualifications including Business Management will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the horticulture sector with at least 2 years at senior management level.
