Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) is the voice of Kenya’s private sector and the apex business organization. 

KEPSA is a member-centric organization with corporate and business organization members, and has positioned itself as the premier convenor of public-private sector dialogues in Kenya.

KEPSA is expected to provide thought leadership to complex public policy issues affecting the business environment and private sector in its dialogue with national and county governments, and business information and networking services to its membership.
 
To this end, KEPSA is now searching for exceptional individuals with the right competencies and strong leadership qualities to enable it deliver on its mandate. 

Job Title: Manager, Public Private Dialogue

Reports to: Chief Policy & Public Private Dialogue
 

Job Summary: Is line manager for KEPSA’s public private dialogue forums and events.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Has managerial responsibility for all public private dialogue activities including forums, events, and publications.
  • Is the relationships manager and liaison between KEPSA and national and county government institutions.
  • Is the coordinator of all the sector boards, and liaison with members for all public private dialogue activities
  • Is the coordinator of all trade and investment activities and events
Candidate Qualities
 
The successful candidate will have:
  • Ability to engage with and maintain excellent relationships with all levels of counterparts in the national and county government institutions, as well as development partners and members.
  • Ability to plan and execute well organized events and activities
  • Ability to deliver high quality publications and other materials for public private dialogues in a timely manner.
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills
  • Excellent inter-personal and relationship skills
  • Sound knowledge of protocol and event management
We are looking for a candidate who holds a master’s degree in business, economic, public policy, or any other related discipline with at least 7 years of experience since attaining the bachelor’s degree. 

The candidates should also have worked in the private sector, public sector, business organization or international organizations in public policy analysis and research positions for at least 3 years.
