Basically, this job involves writing engineering academic papers ranging from final year projects, laboratory reports, use of CAD/CAE software, and industrial attachment reports among other engineering papers. 

There is also the use of programming software packages such as MATLAB. No previous writing experience is required as long as the applicant is willing to learn and has a deep understanding of engineering principles.  

However, those with previous writing experience will have an added advantage. 

The applicant must be located in Nairobi and should have access to a computer (preferably a lap top).  Applicants must have a Bsc. degree or higher in an engineering course. 

However, those without an engineering degree but are well versed with programming (MATLAB) and use of CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks, ANSYS etc. can still apply.

Note: the starting compensation for those with previous writing experience will be ksh500/page or higher with a possibility of writing 10 pages per day i.e. Ksh 5,000 per day.  

However, the writers are expected to consistently provide high quality papers and designs with 0% plagiarism. 

Those with no previous experience will have a starting compensation of ksh350/page with a possibility of writing 10 pages per day i.e. Ksh 3,500 per day. However, the cost per page will be increased accordingly.
