The Procurement Officer is responsible for ensuring that all the company procurement processes are carried out in line with the Public Procurement & Disposal Act & Regulations while observing the best procurement practice

Duties and Responsibilities
·       Overseeing the procurement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with the Public Procurement Act and Regulations
·       Formulating and implementing supplies and stores policies including effective stock control systems
·       Procuring required goods at the most competitive and economical prices

·       Conducting boarding and disposal of unserviceable and/or other stores
·       Ensuring prompt payment of suppliers

Qualifications

Assistant Procurement Officer

The Assistant Procurement Officer is responsible for procurement support.

Duties and Responsibilities
·       Act as secretary to the procurement committee
·       Circulation of tender documents and quotations
·       Tracking procurement assignments
·       Inspection of stores
·       Carrying out periodic market surveys
·       Making recommendations for disposal of unserviceable and/or other stores
·       Assisting in preparation of bid documents
·       Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
·       Diploma in purchasing and supplies management
·       At least 2 years work experience in similar role
·       Knowledge of the Public Procurement Act and Regulations
·       Proficiency in computer application
Stores Clerk

Stores Clerk will be responsible for receiving, storing and issuing supplies/materials and updating stores records

Duties and Responsibilities
·       Issuing supplies
·       Maintaining, updating and reconciling stores records
·       Conducting stock taking as required
·       Monitoring and maintaining stock levels
·       General stores management
·       Stock verification
·       Participating in boarding and disposing of stores
·       Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
·       Certificate in purchasing and supplies management
·       At least 2 years work experience in similar role
·       Knowledge of the Public Procurement Act and Regulations
·       Proficiency in computer applications

Reporting to the Corporate Accounts Manager, the Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for the following:-
·       Improve sales through strategic alliances with contractors and developers in building and construction sector(s).
·       Develop, introduce, demonstrate and promote all current and new products.
·       Provide leadership in coordination of contractor sales and marketing programs
·       Professionally handle key technical calls and issues related to the products.
·       Conduct product training programs for individual and groups both at distributor and contractor level.
·       Coordination of intelligence gathering with other Regional Sales Representatives and key Distributors.
·       Investigate, document and report all product related complaints, take them up with production department for effective resolutions.

The Fellow will be managing several different projects.

Planning and coordinating:
·       The full market launch of a new product within KickStart’s country programs and export sales program
·       A customer market test in Kenya for a new product currently in the final stages of development
·       The implementation of KickStart’s accessories and complementary products (hoses, sprinklers, water catchment) strategy
·       Leading the creation of the training content, marketing collateral, and product packaging for KickStart’s products under development
·       Building great customer and market research to drive and inform new product decisions to best meet customer needs
·       Managing KickStart’s product pricing model and providing input to KickStart staff on overall pricing strategy across all physical products from pumps to spares and accessories
·       Continuing to develop KickStart’s product roadmap, exploring new product opportunities, and creating any applicable business cases
·       Partnering with engineering and supply chain to build product design criteria and testing/QC procedures for new products
Skills, Experiences, and Competencies required:
·       Product management or product marketing experience. Experience in new product hardware introduction (versus service offering) preferred
