Corporate Recruiter

Job Purpose:

To ensure delivery of all facets of recruitment success throughout the organization.

Generic Duties:

• Develop recruitment policy, tools and structure.
• Develop and execute recruiting plans.
• Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
• Aid in building the employment brand, positioning the organization as an ”employer of choice”.
• Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
• Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
• Check credentials and references and schedule follow-up interviews with company supervisors.
• Contact community job placement services, private personnel agencies, and colleges to set up interviews with job counselors for prospective job candidates.
• Interview applicants and gathers information regarding their education, experience, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
• Maintain necessary files covering applications, interviews, and testing procedures.
• Proactively researches and investigates innovative sourcing strategies.
• Source active candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases and employee referrals.
• Build and maintain a vast network of professional relationships over a long period of time.
• Source passive candidates through networking and cold calling.
• Develop, implement and maintain QSHE procedures for HR function.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in HRM or any related fields, Master’s Degree a plus.

Professional Training/Qualification:

• Training in recruitment
• Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources
• Knowledge of Labour laws & International Labour Trends

Skills requirements:

• Demonstrates excellent business acumen
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Interacts with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Persuades and influences decision makers
• Strategic mindset
• Change management experience & skills

Relevant working Experience:

• 7 years’ work experience.
• Regional work experience is an added advantage.

Location of work: Nairobi, Kenya

Contract Period: 6 Months (extend-able based on performance)

Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Computer Science. Certificate in JD Enterprise One (Technical Tools) will be added advantage

Job Purpose:

Is responsible for developing and modifying ERP reports, applications and other related EnterpriseOne objects within the organization

Generic Duties:

• Carry out systems analysis, design and development, modifications and enhancements for key reports, applications and other objects in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP.
• Develop new reports and applications under guidance of functional consultant.
• Carry out systems and user Documentation.
• Participate in design and implementation of testing programs.
• Suggest and implement ways of improving speed and performance of reports / applications processing.
• Work in a team tasked with upgrading the system to EnterpriseOne 9.0

Experience Profile:

Should have extensive hands on exposure on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne tools :-

• Form Design Aid (FDA), Enterprise Report Writing (ERW), Object Management Workbench (OMW), Table Design Aid (TDA), Table I/O and Table Conversion (TC), Business View Design Aid (BSVW), Data Dictionary (DD) and Data Structure (DSTR), Processing Option Design Aid (PODA), Named Event Rules (NER), User Defined Codes (UDC) and Debugging tools
• Have good knowledge on Event Rule Design and Report segments like Tabular, Columnar, Group, Sections, Level Break Header and Footer, Report variable, Event Rule Variable, Constants & Run Time variables.
• Strong knowledge on developing tools and system applications using JD Edwards Enterprise One, Expertise in writing new customized JD Edwards batch applications, Interactive application, Interfaces and Table conversions, testing and debugging applications & reports, and good knowledge of Event rules.
• SARs and Technical solutions: Preparation and finalization of Specifications & Test plans for reports (ERW), in consultation with the Functional Consultant, raising SAR’s on critical project issues & follow up with JD Edwards to see it through.
• Must have Exposure to Financial and Distribution Reports and Application customization and development.
• Have knowledge of Application Version Upgrade to E1 9.0 from an earlier version (preferably from 8.10). Familiarity with retrofitting activity.
• Knowledge implementing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP in an industry environment, construction industry implementation is an added advantage.

• Responsible for preparing necessary material approvals, requests for review by site Agent and onward submission to consultant / client.

• Evaluation of quotations prior to tenders.
