1. Head of Sales (Mobile Money)

Reporting level: The position reports to the Head Mobile Money

Location: Kampala Uganda

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Setup Mobile Money function including monitoring, recruitment and management of talent
  • Drive revenues, direct acquisition and growth of customer base
  • Work closely with retail and enterprise sales teams to derive synergies from them
  • Drive, monitor and direct initiatives that will grow mobile money revenues
  • Build and manage relationships with key regulators, vendors and strategic partners
  • Create and roll out innovative solutions needed to support mobile money revenue
  • Develop alternative channels for mobile money customer acquisition
  • Manage subscriber acquisition cost
Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Information Systems
  • Possession of Masters/ Post Graduate/ Professional Qualification will be an advantage
  • Hands on experience of Sales and Distribution in a telecom or FMCG industry is a distinctive advantage
  • At least 10 years of working experience, 2-3 years of which must be in mobile money
  • Demonstrated leadership to lead team, business acumen and analytical skills are vital.
2. Head of Value Added Services

Reporting level: The position reports to the Head of Marketing

Location: Kampala Uganda

Key Responsibilities:
  • Will be responsible for the revenue growth for the portfolio of Value Added Services
  • Drive, Monitor and direct initiatives that will grow VAS revenues
  • Identify new and manage existing VAS solutions
  • Manage and lead winning VAS partnerships and service providers internal and external.
  • Create and roll out innovative VAS solutions needed to grow VAS products
Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Information Systems
  • Possession of Masters / Post Graduate / Professional Qualification will be an advantage
  • Hands on experience in VAS related fields is essential
  • At least 8 years of working experience, 3 of which must be have been attained in a VAS function
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, business acumen and analytical skills are vital.
3. Brand and Market Communication Manager

Reporting level: The position reports to the Head of Marketing

Location: Kampala Uganda

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sets up company’s brand architecture to achieve the overall business goals.
  • Engage, inspire and galvanize the brand vision and strategies.
  • Initiates the brand strategy and develop new products to support company goals.
  • Drive consumer understanding and insights that define brand.
  • Oversee the brand strategy execution and research studies.
  • Analyze market, consumer, and competitive information as part of situation analysis.
  • Analyze performance, trends, market conditions, and other contributing factors to help the brand and make recommendations.
Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Information Systems
  • Possession of Masters / Post Graduate / Professional Qualification will be an advantage
  • Hands on experience of Marketing in a telecom or FMCG industry is a distinctive advantage
  • At least 10 years of working experience, 3 of which must be have been attained at middle management level
  • Demonstrated leadership to lead team, business acumen and analytical skills are vital.
4. Mobile Money Usage & Retention Manager

Reporting level: The position reports to the Head of Mobile Money

Location: Kampala Uganda

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer life cycle to derive maximum usage of Mobile Money Service
  • Analyse consumer behaviour i.e. deposits, transfers, purchases, encashment, and develop customer specific value propositions
  • Design and execute usage & revenue enhancement program / campaign by launching products and schemes to enhance the average revenue per user
  • Track and monitor the financial impact of new and existing products, including revenue growth
  • Mapping Market competitive strategies/activities and respond to competitors offering in order to retain the subscribers.
  • Ensure plans/strategies accommodate the changes taking place in the market and respond to customer needs
  • Regular market analysis to measure evolution of Mobile Money Services, trends, and product penetration, so that the best strategy can be recommended to increase sales and market share of the Products(or Product Lines)
  • Ensuring control of profitability of Products (or Product Lines), in collaboration with Finance Department
  • Market and business intelligence to keep track of business health and market movements
Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Information Systems
  • Possession of Masters / Post Graduate / Professional Qualification will be an advantage

5. International Roaming Manager

Reporting level: The position reports to the Head Marketing

Location: Kampala Uganda

Key Responsibilities:
  • Will be responsible for the International Roaming revenues
  • Drive, monitor and direct initiatives that will grow roaming revenues
  • Identify new and manage existing roaming partners
  • Proactively resolve all roaming issues raised.
  • Create and roll out innovative solutions needed to support international roaming revenue
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Information Systems
  • Possession of Masters / Post Graduate / Professional Qualification will be an advantage
  • Hands on experience in roaming & long distance call management is essential
  • At least 7 years of working experience, 3 of which must be have been attained at middle management level
  • Experience in telecommunications industry will be a distinct advantage
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, business acumen and analytical skills are vital.
