Senior Manager, Health Programs Quality
Reporting to the Health Program Director, the incumbent will provide leadership
in quality improvement of health programs by ensuring that program quality is
embedded in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of CARE’s
health sector programs.
She/he will ensure program implementation and performance; consider underlying
social dimensions that impact on access to health and impact group’s
vulnerabilities.
Key indicators of success for the position include program quality sub-strategy
in health programs, guidelines for measuring program quality, availability of
program quality standards and guidelines (across intervention areas including
M&E), availability of standard operating procedures across various
interventions (mainly technical areas) and quality of technical program
proposals are developed.
Health Sector M&E Specialist
Reporting to the Health Program Director, the incumbent shall have overall
responsibility for monitoring & evaluation within the health sector.
She/he will be responsible for setting up and managing a dynamic and functional
monitoring and evaluation system for enhanced program performance, contribute
to dynamic programmatic development, capacity development of staff/partners and
provide support in aspects that contribute to strengthening of monitoring and
evaluation as well as quality of program performance of health sector
interventions.
