We are seeking to recruit an experienced and self- motivated individual to the job position of Human Resource Manager — HR Department.

Job Ref: HR-HRM-09-11

The Human Resource Manager will report to the Group Human Resource Director. He/she will be responsible for the delivery and implementation of HR policies and programs.

We are looking for a person who is a HR generalist with at least 5 years experience in a busy commercial environment.

Key result areas will include:

 

• HR Business Partner for key divisions within the Group
• Sourcing and placement of high caliber talent in line with business needs
• Performance management and employee productivity monitoring;
• Change management while ensuring staff in respective divisions are aligned to NMG culture
• Employee relations, compensation and benefits administration of assigned divisions;
• Supporting team development initiatives within the Group
• Staff development and talent management programmes to drive talent retention

Skills, knowledge and experience requirement:

• A University degree in HR, Humanities or relevant field and a Post Graduate Diploma in HRM or an equivalent; an MBA will be an added advantage
• Over 5 years experience as HR Manager, interacting at senior level
• Experience in talent management, executing strategies, commercial acumen and excellent people management skills
• An understanding of the global trends in managing employee contribution and HR practices; and
• Excellent interpersonal skills, drive for results and a “can do attitude’
