The International Potato Center (CIP), SSA Africa office in Nairobi is seeking a dynamic and resourceful research professional to support technical implementation of field experiments in East Africa.

Duties and Accountabilities:

• Contribute to the design of field experiments to generate data for production systems and systems modeling work in the region.
• Establish and conduct the designed experiments both in research stations and farmers’ fields, including statistical analysis and scientific publications.

Selection Criteria:

• Masters degree in Agricultural Sciences
• Familiar with crop production systems oriented research.
• At least two years of experience in the conduction of field experimentation.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tools is a plus.
