Suraya Property Group Limited, one of the leading and fast growing real estate development companies in Kenya is undertaking and plans to undertake major development projects ranging from master planning, scheme design, detail design, supervision, services designs and other construction related activities in projects spread in a number of counties and cities in Kenya.

Electrical Engineers

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience.

• A degree in Electrical Engineering;
• ideally Chartered status or willing to work towards in the future;
• A good understanding of, or qualified in, health and safety within construction; and
• strong experience post-qualification in electrical engineering within a consultancy, or construction works in the industry
• Must be a registered Engineer
• Minimum 10years experience.

Experience in the following areas is required:

• excellent knowledge of HV, MV and LV infrastructure, grid connection electrical installations and commissioning.
• The undertaking of feasibility studies and design reviews;
• the witnessing of Factory Acceptance Testing of various equipment and machines;
• ability to assess manufactured or fabricated items for faults; and 
• construction monitoring and evaluation;

We are also looking for the following personal attributes and skills:

• Effective time management skills;
• Ability to evaluate, explain and simplify complex technical issues to lay persons.
• A registered & active member of respective professional body recognized in Kenya.
• Able to work as part of a wider team and also to operate autonomously as may be required.
