Apprentice – Reliability Systems
 
The position seeks to grow the critical Service business market share through expanding geographic and industry presence in Eastern Africa by increasing SKF brand awareness & developing operational excellence and value added capabilities. 

Key responsibilities include:-
  • Have a passion for maintenance field services
  • Have a passion for PdM technologies such as vibration analysis, infrared thermography, oil and motor analysis
  • Have good mathematical and mechanical aptitude, an analytical approach to problem solving
  • Having the ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Having good IT skills and be proficient in MS Office packages
  • Having good written and verbal communication skills
  • Be a team player
  • Working to total quality management principles, ensuring zero defect objectives and customer satisfaction
  • Is accountable for actively developing him/herself and contributing to team efforts
The applicant should be presentable, well spoken, self-driven and possesses a Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics engineering or HND. The applicant should be able to travel frequently.
