Executive Assistant to Group CEO

Main Purpose of the Job: Anticipating the GCEO's needs and acting according and proactively, to bring together appropriate people and resources to support the executive in addressing issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring customer reception, information dissemination, and service delivery
  • Management of GCEO’s office and personal diary including travel, leave and advised engagements
  • Ensure follow through on meeting session actions points and delivery of the same.
  • Participating in appointed projects and representing the GCEO in delegated meetings
  • Preparing, editing and disseminating determined communications to and from the GCEO’s office
  • Review correspondence, prioritize for GCEO's attention and respond to the routine.
  • Manage external contacts, establish priority contacts and keep track of priority communication
  • Ensuring safe and secure storage of confidential information for the GCEO
  • Preparing presentations, speeches and other communications for the GCEO
  • Collates executive board reports and distributes
  • Supervises administrative duties in the corporate office
  • Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor in line with the job description.
Job Skills  
  • Excellent understanding of Accounting, Finance, Auditing and Business issues in general Risk assessment skills
  • Ability to plan effectively to ensure adequate coverage of all high and critical risks 
  • Ability to assess and identify trouble spots for requisite audit coverage 
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high work standards
  • Ability to achieve results through others 
  • Ability to maintain independence and ethical standards in performance of assignments

Academic Qualifications
