Master Cutter and Tailor 

 A newly established Fashion and Design House Kitengela Town urgently requires

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cut patterns from designer sketches and catalogues.
• Cut and sew high quality creations for ladies, gents and uniforms
• Drafting, creating and modifying patterns.
• Operation and care of electric sewing machines and other equipment
• Sew, mend, alter, and tailor articles of clothing on a volume basis.
• Sew on varied fabrics
• Presses garment, using hand iron or pressing machine.

Qualifications 

• At least a KCSE certificate
• Certificate or diploma in fashion and design or its equivalent
• Possess at least 2 years’ experience
• Work with less or no supervision
• Ability to work under pressure and beat deadlines
• Preferable be highly conversant with the operation of high speed industrial and other types of sewing machines
