Chief Engineer Job in Kenya Coast Leading Resort

A leading resort on the Kenya Coast is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer with previous experience in 4-5 star establishments:

Duties:

• Performs, Manages and supervises the maintenance operations for exterior and interior facilities including electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, heating, cooling structural and other maintenance works necessary to maintain the property in an optimum and efficient condition
• Maintains all distribution systems for electricity, water, steam and gas etc.
• Maintains buildings and grounds.
• Monitors and coordinate the services performed by outside contractors in accordance to all contracts, leases, service agreements and warranties
• Prepares Capital expenditures and maintenance budget
• Plans, implements and administers an emergency management program

Qualifications/Experience:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering .
• 3 to 5 years experience as a Chief Engineer in a large hotel, international experience a plus.
• Knowledge of technical equipment and budget management
