Position: Head of Emergency & Monitor / Fleet Manager

Our Client, a leading provider in Security Tracking devices with its corporate headquarters in Nairobi is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of a Head of Emergency & Monitor /Fleet Manger. 

The ideal candidate should have strong supervisory skills, a mature personality and be able to manage people.

Duties and Responsibilities
 

As a Head of Emergency:
  • Tracking vehicles and close monitoring while vehicles are across the Kenyan Border and making sure that they track consistently while in Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania and Sudan and informing the relevant people.
  • Ensure that all installation details given by technicians have been entered on the Control application/Web and make sure that all units are transmitting successfully by restarting severally and testing gradual and panic.
  • Monitor and report vehicle abuse, over speeding and inform the relevant people or departments during day and night shifts. 
  • Handle theft cases by facilitating in recovery of stolen/hijacked vehicles through liaising with Police officers, Customers and the team.
  • Ensure that shift exchange/handover from one Controller to another is done effectively for both day and Night shifts.
  • Ensure that Internet connection is perfect and contact the service Provider when the Link is down.
  • Ensure that some units are immobilized/De-mobilized as per Bank or Customer requests and all guidelines and procedures are followed.
  • Ensure that Starcom systems receive a monthly report on unit status. 
  • Ensure all staff and clients are trained on how to use the system.
  • Ensure all lagging units are set to communicate on time.
  • Participate in development of goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures.
  • Ensure Fleet customers are provided with daily/weekly/monthly analyzed customized reports.
  • Ensure all clients requesting for Geo fence have been allocated.
Required Qualifications
  • At least a Degree in Procurement and Logistics, Business Administration or any other related field.
  • Should have minimum of 6 years of similar experience in a Fleet management Company and has been in charge of operations
  • Computer skills will be highly applicable
  • Good presentations and communication skills.
  • Experience in installation of tracking devices on vehicles is A MUST.
