Aon Kenya, a leading provider of insurance broking, risk management and human capital consulting solutions is looking to fill the following positions reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.
 
General Manager Healthcare 
(Ref: GMHC/001/1114)
 
Key Functions
 
The role will provide leadership to the healthcare division team to achieve the divisional and company business objectives. 

Key functions and responsibilities will include;
 
Strategic planning and review of division performance and direction.
 
Set and monitor division standards and performance objectives of the various units.
 
Goal setting and performance review/appraisal of direct reports.
 
General Manager Sales 
(Ref: GMSL/002/1114)
 
Key Functions
 

The job holder will oversee development of sales strategy and growth plans; lead the sales team to bring in new business and manage new business pipeline. 

Source for business within designated areas and in particular handling of Pan African accounts.
 
Lead team in acquiring new business as well as organic growth for existing clientele base.
 
Responsible for coordination and implementation of sales strategy.
 
General Manager Marketing 
(Ref: GMMK/003/1114)
 
Key Functions
 
Develop and execute marketing strategy; implement marketing campaigns and development of support collateral for new business acquisition, client retention, and growth of the clients through successful marketing and management programs.
 
Develop and monitor company cross marketing channels.
 
Responsible for coordination and implementation of product development, pricing, promotion, distribution, and new product launches.
 
Masterbrand roll out and liaison with the larger Aon.
 
Head of Reinsurance
(Ref: REIN/004/1114)
 
Key Functions
 
The above position will be based in Nairobi and will report jointly to Aon Benfield Africa based in Johannesburg, South Africa, with a local reporting line into Aon Kenya.
 
Source, develop and grow business from existing and new clients in Kenya and other East Africa n countries.
 
Client servicing and relationship development.
 
Education and Background Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or professional insurance qualification e.g. ACII.
  • Good knowledge of treaty and facultative reinsurance is advantageous.
  • Strong relationships with insurers in Kenya.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in insurance and/or reinsurance at senior level.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
