The Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK) is a professional organization made up of valuers, land surveyors, registered estate agents, property managers, building surveyors, geospatial surveyors, land managers, project managers and facility managers.

The Institution is seeking to fill the following positions for a period of one year with possibilities of an extension depending on performance and availability of funding.

Project Manager

Job Profile
·         Assisting in developing proposals for support from donors and partners in line with the strategic plan and general guidance of the Council.
·         Implementing projects and programmes as per contracts and proposals agreed with the donors / partners to ensure achievements of planned outputs.
Person Profile
·         First Degree in Land Economics, Land Survey, Geospatial Science or related disciplines with at least 10 years experience 5 of which should be in Project Management.
·         Those with a Masters Degree in relevant discipline will have an added advantage.
·         Previous experience with projects related to land matters will be a distinct advantage.
Policy, Research & Advocacy Officer

Job Profile
·         Coordinating all researches being carried out by ISK including those to do with members as well as donor supported projects.
·         Procuring research consultancies including development of TORs, follow up on field studies and ensure timely presentation of findings and recommendations to relevant organs of ISK.
Person Profile
·         First Degree in Land Economics, Land Survey, Geospatial Science or related disciplines with at least 4 years relevant experience ¡n a policy research institution, professional or membership based organization.
·         Good exposure to the policy research and analysis will be an added advantage.
PR & Communication Officer

Job Profile
·         Spearhead development and implementation of a Communication Strategy with close liaison with Editorial and PR Committee.
·         Develop and utilize media contacts and networks to ensure ISK issues and functions are adequately covered in the media.
·         Managing ISK website to ensure its upto date and provides information required by members and other users.
Person Profile
·         First Degree in Communication, Journalism or related disciplines with at least 5 years relevant experience in a professional or membership based organization.
·         Experience on working with development of publications, branding development and good contacts with media houses is essential.
