A leading International safety & security solutions provider, founded on innovation and quality service delivery, is looking to fill the following positions on a temporary basis.

1. Project Manager
 
Contract Term

Six (6) months starting September 2013, subject to extension.
 
Position Overview

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating product launch projects according to pre-determined timelines and budgets, building and managing project teams and ensuring quality control throughout the project life cycle.
 
Responsibilities
  • Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution
  • Manage project development from initiation to closure
  • Be accountable for project results
  • Track and report on project milestones and provide status report
  • Lead, coach and motivate project team members on a proactive basis
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • University degree in a business related field, CIM diploma will be an added advantage
  • 2 years sales experience in project and/or sales/marketing management
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills
2. Marketing Assistant
 
Contract Term
 
Six (6) months starting immediately, subject to extension.
 
Position Overview
 
Reporting to the Marketing Officer, the Marketing Assistant will be responsible for the administrative process of determining a re-brand roll out and providing support to the marketing department in collating the information that will be needed to aid in decision making. 

The person will also be responsible for understanding the ERP system and how it can be streamlined for efficient resource utilisation and allocation.

Responsibilities
  • Deputise for the Marketing Officer
  • Provide administration support for the re-brand process
  • Work closely with the management accountant to understand the inventory in the system
  • Follow up with the teams on tactical activities at different stages of the re-brand
  • Assist in execution of the re-brand plan and with the preparation of progress reports
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Computer skills including ability to understand ERP system
  • Effective written communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Procurement experience will be an added advantage
