A leading firm wishes to hire an experienced Personal Assistant to the Managing Director with the following qualifications:-
 
Demonstrated experience in a Personal Assistant role or similar position (minimum 5 years)
 
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and knowledge of any other foreign language will be an added advantage
 

Experience of working with senior management is essential
 
Proficient IT skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Outlook
 
Excellent organisational skills, ability to multi-task and excellent tracking of the M.D.’s diary
 
Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters
 
Attention to detail and deadlines
 
Ability to work under pressure and be flexible as part of a small team
 
Previous experience of travel arrangements is an asset
 
Secretarial college diploma examined by City & Guilds or KNEC or a Bachelor degree in a relevant field (e.g. languages, communications, business administration) from a recognized university
 
Exposure to Ms Project, Primavera Project Planner will be an added advantage
