Pump Technician - Fuel Station

Salary: Ksh 40,000 - 60,000

Our client is in the fuel business. 

They seek to hire a pump technician for the fuel station to carry out installation servicing and maintenance of the fuel pumps.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out random checks on pumps to ensure proper functioning
• Carry out repairs on all pumps and prepare summary reports
• Ensure any contracted pump repairs are inspected and done properly
• Attend to all Emergency and safety breakdowns
• Carry out tank and pump calibrations
• Responsible for servicing fuel pumps and any other station repairs
• Carry out preventive maintenance of the station pumps
• Attending to pumps within set time limit to avoid time wastage

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
• Over 3 years experience in fuel Dispensing Pumps maintenance
• Excellent technical knowledge in fuel pump electronics.
• Experience in Ultrasonic Testing will be an added advantage.
• Good people relations and communication skills.
• Computer literate
• Team player willing to work with minimum supervision
• Be a person of integrity with high morals and professional ethical values.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task between various briefs
• Ability to plan, prioritize and organize.
