Paralegal
 
Main Purpose of The Job:
  • Conducting Research
  • Must be able to conduct and follow up registrations at the Ministry of Lands, The Companies Registry and the KRA
  • Must have good organization skills in matters of filing and handling documents
  • Preparation of evidence for Court matters
  • Checking legal forms for accuracy
  • Preparing reports
  • Preparing correspondence
  • Drafting Legal Opinions and other Legal documents
Organisational Structure:

Reports To: Legal and Compliance Officer
Department: Great Victoria Region
Minimum Education Requirements: Diploma in Law. (Mandatory)
Minimum Required Experience: 2 year’s experience in a similar position

Required Competencies:
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skill with excellent English language skills
  • The ability to prioritize and work under a tight schedule
  • Good computer skills
  • The ability to perform legal research
  • In depth knowledge of legal terminology and principles
  • The ability to analyze legal documents for accuracy
  • A well groomed individual
