The Kenya National Farmers Federation (KENAFF) is soon opening a new and exciting Hospitality and Conferencing facility - Kilimo Grand Resort.
It is located in a serene environment along Thogoto-Mutarakwa road in Kikuyu Sub-County and borders the expansive Ngong Forest and the newly constructed Southern by-pass.
The Federation now seeks to recruit a skilled, competent and experienced General Manager to manage the hospitality function on its facilities.
The core responsibility will be to create, manage and develop a lucrative and profitable business in hospitality, conferencing and recreational industry.
- Analyzing the market and devising promotion, marketing and revenue management strategies
- Managing budgets, financial plans and expenditure
- Ensuring delivery of quality services to the satisfaction of the guests
- Developing and realizing sales and profit targets
- Recruiting, training, delegating and monitoring staff
- Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovation and equipment
- Ensuring safety of guests and employees
- Ensuring compliance to licensing and Public Health regulations
- Advising the management Board of future growth trajectories
Qualifications and experience
We are looking for a mature individual with exceptional marketing and interpersonal skills in the hospitality industry with a relevant degree and 8 years of experience in similar business environment.
A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
Diploma holders with over 10 years experience may also apply.
