An investment Ltd company located in Nairobi involved in working with Investment companies and Petrol station business activities is looking to fill the position of a Forecourt Customer Service Attendant

The Forecourt Customer Service Attendant will report to the Station Supervisor.

Job Purpose: The main responsibility is to meet the needs of the customer at the forecourt through quick and accurate top of the range service within the station limits and company policy. 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping at the forecourt.
  • Maintaining and upholding Total’s Standard Operation Procedures as well as enhancing Health Safety and Environmental Quality standards as required by Total (K) Ltd.
  • Delivering top of the range customer service. Greet every customer with a smile and attend to all customer needs and inquiries in a pleasant manner.
  • Provide customer with products (fuel, oil,) and services (cleaning of windscreen, checking of water, oil, tyre pressure levels, and any other queries in a pleasant manner.
  • Fuel customer vehicles as requested.
  • Collect and account for payment for products sold to customers.
  • Present clean, neat and presentable appearance in uniform at all times while on duty.
  • Carrying out any other operational functions that may be assigned to you by the Station Supervisor/Manager and Management from time to time.
  • Aim for the highest product sales to each customer.

  • Accountability for money.
  • Sales targets.
  • Comments received from customers on service.
  • Mystery Shopper reports.
Minimum Requirements
  • Form 4 KCSE Certificate or Equivalent
  • Certificate of Good Conduct
  • Book keeping, stock management and administrative skills desirable

  • Keen eye for detail
  • Trustworthy
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
Unique Job Demands
  • Based inside at the forecourt.
  • Work in day or night shifts.
  • Work with Fuels and Oils.
  • Work involves much time spent standing.
