The Aga Khan Health Services, Kenya is a part of Aga Khan Development Network. The Aga Khan Health Service, Kenya runs two secondary care level hospitals in Mombasa and Kisumu. The Hospitals are acknowledged for quality healthcare services. They have achieved ISO accreditation and also moving towards internationally recognised clinical standards of quality and excellence.
Aga Khan Hospital Mombasa is looking for the following seasoned professionals who will be leaders in enhancing of existing Clinical programs and work with the larger AKH System in developing specific clinical improvement programs.
Head of Finance
The Head of Finance will provide strategic leadership for financial management and will be responsible for ensuring good financial systems and controls. He/she plays a lead role in the development and execution of the hospital’s business and strategic plans.
- Provide advice to the CEO and the senior management team on all financial matters.
- To ensure financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial performance management.
- To ensure all tax and other statutory obligations are complied with.
- To manage the working capital to meet the cash flow requirements of the hospital.
Qualifications and Experience
- Masters Degree in Business Administration or Accounting (with major in Finance/Accountancy), CPA, ACCA or CA (Chartered Accountant).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management of which at least 4 years should be in a senior leadership role.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
