The Aga Khan Health Services, Kenya is a part of Aga Khan Development Network. The Aga Khan Health Service, Kenya runs two secondary care level hospitals in Mombasa and Kisumu. The Hospitals are acknowledged for quality healthcare services. They have achieved ISO accreditation and also moving towards internationally recognised clinical standards of quality and excellence.
Aga Khan Hospital Mombasa is looking for the following seasoned professionals who will be leaders in enhancing of existing Clinical programs and work with the larger AKH System in developing specific clinical improvement programs.
Quality Programs Coordinator
Provide guidance and support in the implementation of the hospital program on quality improvement and patient safety.
Provide guidance and support in the implementation of the hospital program on quality improvement and patient safety.
S/he will manage the activities needed to carry out effective program on continuous quality improvement and patient safety within the hospital.
- To provide coordination and integration of measurement activities throughout the hospital.
- Implementing a training program for all staff that is consistent with staff’s roles in the quality improvement and patient safety program.
- Communicate regularly to all staff regarding quality improvement and patient safety programs.
- Conduct an Annual Evaluation of Quality Improvement Program and submits reports to the QPS committee
- Coordinates and monitors all clinical compliance activities and participates in the survey process.
- Coordination with group quality team for mock surveys
Qualifications and Experience
- A Higher Diploma or degree in any medical related course from a recognized institution.
- He/she must have evidence of formal training in Quality Management and Quality Control.
- Experience with ISO, JCIA and other quality improvement programs will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Supervisor in a hospital set up.
